What will it profit a man if he may live in a beautiful castle, surrounded by beauty and comfort, if he were dependent on drugs, or be a prisoner of his past evils? What will it happen to him, on the other hand, if he himself could enter Heaven, if his family would not be allowed to enjoy the same blessings? I believe this poor man will not feel at home in such a place, because his soul would undergo such loneliness and anguish that he could not be happy in such a place.
Heaven is more an indicative of Spiritual Progression, rather than a condition of our physical habitat. I understand that the Bible denotes and connotes that if we “are” good in our hearts, God will provide the necessary, equally good surroundings to match that goodness. Besides, there are many people on this earth, who live day in and day out, with an income and a house which by the standards of the worldly is far from rich, who -enjoying peace of mind- would not need any other kind of living standards but the standards of their souls to be happy.
