How to avail an Eon Visa Card

     PayPal is by far the safest way to use in transaction that involves online money transfer.It has been trusted for years and used by almost everyone. Here in the Philippines one way to verify your PayPal account is through the use of the Eon Card which is distributed by Union Bank of the Philippines. Its actually a visa electron debit card so you have the control on the amount of money that you'll have to spend.

In order for you to get this card, all you need to do is to follow these steps:

FOR PERSONAL APPEARANCE

1. Go to the nearest UBP branch in your area and bring with you two photocopies of government issued ID's plus the original ID (in my case I presented my PRC ID card and my Company ID)
2. Ask for an EON Cyber Account Application form (in my case it was the branch manger who assisted me in the entire process. Feel free to ask for someone who can assist you with the process)
3. Submit duly accomplished form and the photocopy of your 2 valid ID's (there are times that they will ask for the original ID for verification so you must also bring it with you)
4. Pay the P350 processing fee (pay at the teller)
5. Get the receipt and they will tell you to wait for 2 weeks for pickup or have the option to just mail it to your home address

Note: I suggest you have to personally claim your Eon card coz its a lot faster. It only takes 4 days for them to release my card for pickup. YOU MUST CALL FIRST THE UBP BANK TO WHERE YOU APPLY FOR THE CARD IF ITS READY FOR PICK UP
