What are you now? Are you an employee? Are you an employer? Are you seeking a job? Are you an unemployment? Are you..... jobless? What do you feel being an employee? What do you feel being an employer? What do you feel being an unemployment?
Everybody had ever been an unemployment before what they've gotten. What they've gotten was a result of fighting for being unemployment. The length of period of being unemployment from one person to another is variety, depend on how hard they fight for a job. However, an unemployment should try hard to find a chance and to get a right job for them selves.
Let's see in Indonesia. I have taken a note that, there are 31.02 million Indonesia people are categorized as poor people, it means 13.3% of the total number of Indonesian people are poor (Based on Indonesia Statistic Office). And there are 12.8 million Indonesian people are categorized as jobless or unemployment. This number is the first rank in ASEAN (Association of South East Nations) countries. Tragically, 1.1 million amongst the number of 12.8 million are Bachelor Degrees holders.
When I read some newspapers or other printed media, the reasons for the booming of unemployment in Indonesia are:
- Indonesia government does not work well or not too serious in their efforts decreasing unemployment rate
- There is still social paradigm in Indonesia society that working as government staff will have good future and more welfare.
- There is lack of mentally entrepreneurship of Indonesia people.
So far, there is only at least 0.18% businessmen amongst the total number of Indonesia people. Ideally, in Indonesia as a development country, there must be 2% of its people being businessmen.
Whatever the above statistic data show you, being jobless is not a good point. Most people with no job will feel loss of self respect. They will not have self confidence and most of all, depressed. The worst is killing them selves.
Don't be too choosy
Being jobless is not end of your life. It is a question of how can you manage your self to increase your effort to grab the chance. Sometimes people are too choosy. They are too choosy till they realize they are jobless for a long time. So, what are you waiting for? Increase your speed and don't be too choosy. Then you will get one. Thereafter, you may a bit too choosy as you wish if you have already got one.
Don't always follow social paradigm
There is a social paradigm in Indonesia society that working as government staff will have good future and more welfare. Perhaps it is true, but maybe you must follow your own heart. To become a government staff, there will be some regularly tests each year. As far as I know, thousands of people follow the test. Are you ready for this? Or, is this worthy?
Create your own creativity
Every human being has its own capacity and creativity. Why don't you use it? Dig it in your self and make a question to yourself "what is your capability", develop it. Then you'll find the way. Perhaps you must fight for your effort, but it's OK. It will take time to see your small business runs well.
So, what are you waiting for? Be hurry! Jobless is not end of the world. Jobless is not end of your life.
