Steps to Identify Paid to Click Scam Sites

Many Paid To Click (PTC) sites are considered to be scams. Many of the sites lure unsuspecting people with promises of making quick bucks to join them. Once joining them you only waste your precious time and money as 99% of them do not pay their clients.
Here are some simple steps in which you can use to identify scam PTC.

1. Use your common sense when visiting PTC sites. If you are promised to be paid $10 per click for viewing time of 30 seconds. Work out mathematically how an advertiser paid only $6 for 3 months to have the advertisement viewed for 30 seconds for $10. It does not make sense mathematically.
2. Check for mathematical errors. The common one is, many PTCs with no minimum payouts advertise to pay 5cents for a 10 second view time. Once it is added, you would see 5 cents is written in decimal fraction as 0.0005 instead of just 0.5 to your account. When that happens it will take 6months at the most to reach a minimum $1 payout target. It will eat away your time and money on electricity and internet costs.
3. Check redemption area of the site you are visiting. If the redemption area does not have a payout bar to redeem your money. It is a sure scam so you can just close your account with the site. When you reach your minimum payout target, there will not be any link to request payout. The only instruction they have for you is to use the credits to advertise your products which you will unlikely to have anything to advertise.
4. Check what others users of the site say. Be careful because many times they use alias for referrals and to write articles on web sites. Just click the browser with the site’s name. On the general listing you can find hundreds of dissatisfied users’ comments. There are also specialist forum sites for scam PTC. See site like: ptcreviews.justanotherpixel.net/2008/10/scam-sites-list.html
5. As a rule of thumb, regard all PTC as scam. Follow this rule and it will save you a lot of time and money.
6. These scam sites make a lot of money through your clicks paid to them by organization like adsense or through advertising payments.
